THE RECOVERER
After a weekend of flying here, there and everywhere.. I need something to rebalance my body and mind.. and the RECOVERER gives you a lift where you need it.. enjoy - Wallop!
1 banana
1 stick celery
2tbsp natural yogurt
1 stem calabrese broccoli
1 leaf of curly kale

Bananas contain tryptophan, serotonin and norepinephrine, which help alleviate depression and also help one to relax. The B vitamins found in them also help to calm and soothe the nervous system
Celery: contain vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, E, K, PP and minerals such as iron, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and zinc. Vitamin C contained by celery strengthens the immunologic system and at the same time makes the body more resistant against new diseases.
Calabrese Broccoli: This green powerhouse packs vitamins C, K and A as well as folate and fiber. It’s also a good source of manganese, potassium and magnesium.
We can now identify over 45 different flavonoids in kale. With kaempferol and quercetin heading the list, kale's flavonoids combine both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits in way that gives kale a leading dietary role with respect to avoidance of chronic inflammation and oxidative stress.
Yoghurt is rich in potassium, calcium, protein and B vitamins, including B-12.
Research shows yoghurt strengthens and stabilizes the immune system.

RIGHT ON TIME
Here's another wild concoction that seems to work a treat.. right on time.. wallop!
2 leaves swiss red chard
2 stems purple sprouting broccoli
6 ripe strawberries
8 red grapes (seeded)
1tbsp Goats milk yogurt (optional)
ice
Regular inclusion of swiss chard in the diet is found to prevent osteoporosis, iron deficiency anaemia, vitamin A deficiency and believed to protect from cardiovascular diseases and colon and prostate cancers
Purple sprouting broccoli is a source of iron and also vitamin C, which helps the body to absorb iron. Iron is used to make healthy red blood cells.
Strawberries contain folate. This is another heart-healthy nutrient. Studies show that people with lower concentrations of folate in their body increase their risk for fatal coronary problems and coronary disease.
Red grapes benefits like anti-aging, anti-virus and anti-tumor. You might have noticed that it is the skin that plays the biggest role and provides these red grapes health benefits. In the bone of contention of red grapes vs green grapes, clearly red grapes are the winner.
Goat's milk is a good source of vitamin B2, which is also referred to as riboflavin. Riboflavin is key to the body's ability to gain and maintain energy. It does this by attaching to protein enzymes that allow for oxygen-based energy production

CROSSFIRE HURRICANE
its a clash.. but what a clash!
handful red seeded grapes
1 banana
2 plums
slice fresh ginger
ice
The seeds of the grape are not the only valuable part in a grape. There is a substance found in the skin (not flesh) of grapes, called "resveratrol".
Researchers reported in a study that resveratrol is converted in the body to a known anti-cancer agent that can selectively target and destroy cancer cells.
Bananas are rich in vitamin B6 and they are a good source of fiber, vitamin C, magnesium and potassium. Lack of B6 in a diet can cause weakness, irritability and insomnia.
A medium-sized banana provides 400 mg of potassium -11% of daily value- and contains 110 calories and 4 grams of fiber..
plum has all important minerals, especially certain natural tranquilizers which help to calm the nerves and catalyze natural REM sleep.
Ginger improves and stimulates circulation and relaxes the muscles surrounding blood vessels, facilitating the flow of blood throughout the body.

SMOKIN BANANA
Its been too long since I've had my raw cacao fix.. so here I am with the Smokin Banana smoothie
2 bananas
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp flaxseed
1/2 cup almond milk
ice
Two bananas a day can help control high blood pressure, offering a cheap alternative to expensive drugs.
Raw Cacao ie Chocolate contains more magnesium than any other food. Magnesium is the number one mineral deficiency in the west. It is the most powerful stress relieving mineral. It also relaxes the muscles and builds strong bones and teeth.
You’d be hard-pressed to find a food higher in fibre both soluble and insoluble than flax. Fibre in the diet also helps stabilize blood sugar, and, of course, promotes proper functioning of the intestines.
Every serving of pure almond milk contains 50% of our recommended daily value of Vitamin E. This powerful nutrient has antioxidant abilities in that it helps regulate Vitamin A use and availability.

anyone out there??
Hello fellow juice lovers. I would like to hear from people out there in the 68 countries that have logged into Wallop juices in the past 11 months and tell me what they like and dont like about this blog.
As you know I juice every day or when time allows and i try and create a new glass of goodness everytime.
I would like to think I'm not alone here in cyberspace and are there any success stories you'd like to share?
Has juicing changed your lives?
I'm curious
Mr Wallop

1 clementine orange
1 pear

The beta cyanin in beetroot can help detox your liver, having a knock-on effect for your bloodstream, by helping the body to eliminate toxins and potentially preventing the build-up of fatty deposits.
Pineapple is great for the brain and fights memory loss, sadness and melancholy.
Clementines are rich in vitamin C, folate, fiber, potassium and antioxidants, which will help boost your immune system.
Pear skin contains the majority of the fruits’ antioxidants, so for the full benefits the fruit should always be eaten with the skin; the chlorogenic acid tends to accumulate in the pear skin.
Research has shown that people who eat fruits and other high-fibre foods gain a certain amount of protection against Parkinson’s, a disease characterized by a breakdown of the brain’s dopamine-producing nerve cells.

GILBERT GRAPE
three ingredients.. a generous amount of each.. equates to a top drawer taste
red grapes, seeded where possible as the nutrients are in the seed and the skin
a generous handful
ginger.. raw.. a bigger chunk than normal
avocado.. ripe.. all the flesh of an average one
and finally.. BLEND all the ingredients together with ice..
Wallop!
Ginger promotes healthy sweating which is often instrumental during the cold or flu. Along with detoxification, German scientists have found that sweat contains a powerful germ-fighting agent which fights infection.
Cancer prevention. Along with many other fruits and vegetables, one of the health benefits of ginger is its strength in defeating cancer, specifically ovarian and colon cancer. Studies have found that ginger powder causes ovarian cancer cells to die and may also slow the growth of colorectal cancer cells.
Avocado provides a considerable amount of thiamine that modifies carbohydrates into glucose to improve brain and nervous system functions. Riboflavin is also present in avocadoes which are actually a catalyst in releasing energy coming from good fats, good carbohydrates and proteins.
Grape seeds are known as a powerful antioxidant. Antioxidants help protect the body from premature ageing, decay and disease. Antioxidants are needed to neutralize free radicals. But the seeds of the grape are not the only valuable part in a grape. There is a substance found in the skin of grapes, called "resveratrol".Researchers reported in a study that resveratrol is converted in the body to a known anti-cancer agent that can selectively target and destroy cancer cells.
